Steamed Brussels Sprouts with Black Pepper
Fresh Brussels Sprouts on the stalk (allowing around five per person)
Steamer
Black pepper
1. Pull the sprouts off the stalk.
2. Remove dead leaves from the outside, cut off any unwanted stalk at the bottom and rinse off under water, in a colander.
3. Place sprouts in either a metal steamer, over the top of boiling water in a pan on a medium heat. Or use an electric steamer, if you have one.
4. Steam for around 20 minutes, or until they become as soft as you desire. Toss in vegan margarine and black pepper.
